Our whitewater rafting guides are the best. Recognized as leaders, they know the Snake River and exactly what it takes to keep you safe on a whitewater rafting trip in Jackson Hole. Most of all, they know how to have fun. Sure, they bark orders, but they have a great perspective, a stockpile of stories, an adventurous spirit and contagious love of the river.
Safety is our number one priority and is reflected in the training and education requirements of our staff. All full-time guides are required to — at a minimum — possess a current Swift-Water Rescue Certification & Wilderness First Aid. Both of these exceed the USFS requirement and local industry standard. Our best advice is to listen to your guide, paddle hard, and trust you’re in good hands, possibly the best.
The camaraderie our guides share is amazing, and when you’re with them you’re part of their family. They all look out for each other, work together, and yes, often splash and goof like grown-up kids. The river is where our guides are happiest, and there are a few places on the river where they may want to have a bit of fun and show off their rafting tricks and offer you a dip in the river.
