A ‘Hole’ Lot of Snow!

When the town of Jackson’s streets are covered in snow, the plows and Sorels are out and about, and I spend my mornings shoveling an entrance into my driveway in NOVEMBER, you know there’s a lot of snow! Climb a few thousand feet in elevation and you’re easily knee deep on up in powder. For the sixth time in 45 years, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened the entire ski hill from top to bottom. For the first time in 45 years, the resort opened the whole ski hill in November – history in the making! Working at the mountain on opening day, I watched the tram line extend all the way to the parking lot. It was quite a show, as was my attempt to get down the powder-filled mountain for the first time all season in new boots… if anyone was watching! Well, get out there and enjoy the snow… it’s December 1, and the snow’s not slowing down anytime soon!
