Hike – Bike – Raft – Camp
Two days of R.E.A.L. (Recreation, Ecology, Adventure, Local) hospitality. Join The Hole Hiking Experience, Barker-Ewing River Trips and Teton Mountain Bike Tours for an adventure you won’t soon forget! Explore spectacular scenery with a local naturalist, raft the Grand Canyon of the Snake River, spend the night at our private riverside camp, and bike beneath the majesty of the Tetons.
Itinerary
Day 1: Start off your day with The Hole Hiking Experience at 8am. Go exploring on a Hiking Tour with a naturalist to learn about Jackson Hole’s magnificent flowers, wildlife, ecology and geology. Return to town with time to eat lunch on your own, then meet up with Barker-Ewing River Trips at 2:30pm for an Overnight Combo River Trip. Enjoy an 8-mile Scenic Float in the upper reaches of the Snake River Canyon to our exclusive river camp. Relax and enjoy a delicious steak dinner, followed by late night stories and S’mores by the campfire. At your leisure, head off to your cozy tent cabin and fall asleep to the sound of the river.
Day 2: Following breakfast, you’ll continue deeper into the Grand Canyon of the Snake River. Plan to get wet on your Whitewater Adventure! Downstream rapids like Big Kahuna, Lunch Counter, Rope and Champagne are waiting for you. Upon return to town around 12:30pm, grab a quick bite before meeting up with Teton Mountain Bike Tours at 2pm. Then you are off for a Mountain Bike Tour in Grand Teton National Park, a great way to observe wildlife in their natural setting while capturing breathtaking views of the Teton Mountain Range.

Pedal & Paddle
Biking & Rafting
From the road to the river, enjoy a morning mountain bike ride and an afternoon Whitewater Adventure. Spend the cool hours of the morning exploring Jackson Hole’s trails and wildlife with the Tetons as your backdrop. Then head off to the Grand Canyon of the Snake River for an afternoon of whitewater rafting in the Grand Canyon of the Snake River.

Start off your trip with Teton Mountain Bike Tours at 9am. Your guide will cater the tour to your wants, as mellow or intense as you choose.* Go exploring by Mountain Bike where the buffalo roam and the cars don’t. Check out the brand new bike path** in Grand Teton National Park. Learn about the magnificent flowers, wildlife, ecology and geology of Jackson Hole all along the way.
Return to town by 1pm in time to gather your belongings, eat lunch and meet up with Barker-Ewing River Trips for your 8-mile Whitewater Adventure. Plan to get wet when the day is at its warmest. Downstream rapids like Big Kahuna, Lunch Counter, Rope and Champagne are waiting to thrill you. You’ll return to town by 6:30pm.

The Hole Boat
Hiking & Rafting
From the mountains to the river, enjoy a morning hike and an afternoon whitewater. Spend the morning exploring Jackson Hole’s unique ecosystem with a local naturalist, then head off to the Snake River to quench your thirst on the whitewater rapids that await! A perfect day: hike in the cool morning hours and float in the warm afternoon sunshine.

Wildlife Expeditions and Barker-Ewing River Trips invite you to explore Jackson Hole when wildlife is venturing out and warmth is settling in. Set off on a Sunrise or Sunset Expedition in Grand Teton National Park during the “Alpenglow hours” when wildlife activity is at its peak. Then get off the road and on the river. Soak up the sunshine and take to the rapids on your Whitewater Adventure through the Grand Canyon of the Snake River.

For your Sunrise or Sunset Expedition, your Wildlife Expeditions trained, Masters-level biologist chooses the route of the day based on recent wildlife sightings. Observe and learn about the wildlife, their behavior and how to find & observe wildlife on your own. Binoculars, spotting scopes, educational materials and activity packs for kids are all provided. Hotel pick ups are complimentary for guests staying in Jackson, Teton Village, Amangani and Spring Creek Ranch. Plan 4 hours for your round trip expedition.
For your Whitewater Adventure on the Snake River, your Barker-Ewing River Trips experienced and enthusiastic guide takes you through such famous rapids as Big Kahuna, Lunch Counter, Rope and Champagne. It’s a great trip for people of all ages and experience! Depart from our convenient in-town location, 1 mile from the Town Square, and plan 4 hours for your round trip Whitewater Adventure.

Itinerary
Package can be fulfilled on the same day or on two different days.
Spend some time with a paddle, then jump on the saddle! Create your own perfect day by combining a Teton Village Trail Ride with a Teton Views Scenic Float or Whitewater Adventure. For the horseback ride, choose a 1hour or 2hour adventure, and enjoy horsing around Teton Village with a beautiful, mild 800 foot climb up the mountain for a beautiful view of the Tetons and the valley below. For the river trip, plan for some serious whitewater action or some seriously mellow scenic floating along the Snake River, whatever floats your boat!
